Summer 2012
Costa Rica. I want to go there. http://www.efcollegebreak.com/college-trips/tripitinerary.aspx?touryear=2012&tourcode=COBB. LETS DO IT.
God is good!
2:00PM: I buy a parking permit ($43) at the Parking Office today
2:10: I proceed to walk across the cross-walk and down to the bus stop.
2:10 and 45 seconds: Arrive at Gilman bus stop. Look down and realize, I managed to LOSE my permit.
The next 10 minutes: I frantically look around with my apartment mate and conclude that I officially dropped and lost my permit. I WAS SO BUMMED.

2012
I think it goes to show that the year will move fast. I mean, seriously. It has already been moving faster than I anticipated. I initially wanted to write a New Years’ Resolution post but seeing as it’s January 12th already… yeah.
Anyway, there isn’t a concrete list of resolutions that I wanted to put up but I decided that I just wanted to spend my time more purposefully...

Merry Christmas 2011!
Another year and finally Christmas is here :). It’s not only a time for me to show my friends and family my love for them but a reminder of the ultimate love shown to us by our eternal Father - for He so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, Jesus Christ. I thank God everyday that I can stand here as I am, saved, because of what this day symbolizes. Now that’s a reason to...

I'm getting worse at these..
Day 16: When did you find out Santa wasn’t real? Not sure I ever thought he was real… never was a kid to believe those sort of things, haha.
Day 17: Have you ever been to a Christmas parade? No, but I’ve helped prep one (Rose Parade.. does that count as a Christmas parade?) I think… are Christmas parades common?
Day 18: Which lights are better: white or colored and blinking or...
Yesterday I saw...
…a bright flash of light in the sky as I was driving on the freeway! I just got on the freeway from the on ramp so I didn’t get a good look but it definitely looked like a shooting star but way bigger, closer to the horizon, and kind of in a shaped of a 3 going down to the right then faded out. I DEFINITELY saw it because when I first noticed it I thought I was going crazy but I stared...

Quadruple whammy!
Day 11: What kind of Christmas tree do you have? In my apartment I have a table-top xmas tree about 1 1/2 feet high maybe (see previous picture post). And at home we have a fake 7 feet (something like that) xmas tree in our living room so that when you drive past our house you can see it through our front shutters :).
Day 12: Do you take part in secret Santa? Not traditionally, but I have in...

Last final, Friday 7-10 pm…
Day 10: Kissing under the mistletoe…have you done...
Nope! My family doesn’t really keep mistletoe around the house..
Day 9: What are you doing for Christmas this year?
Nothing too fancy this year. Going to have normal family feasts and festivities with the cousins and family friends. Then I think we’re going to Mammoth and renting a cabin for a couple days so that’s going to be a lot of fun! Snowboarding, hiking, cooking, who knows what else :). Christmas this year is just what I imagined it to be - chilly (finally the weather is actually to bundle...
Day 8: What is your favorite food at Christmas...
Hrm, I don’t think there is one food in particular. Appetizer: my mom’s Indo-fied Sausage in a Blanket; Entree: prime rib; Dessert: Cheesecake? Drink: this Indo-drink called Cendol or APPLE CIDER. I just love any type of holiday roasts and the complementary side dishes :). Yumms!
Final (week) changes
So I’ve been trying to implement some changes and update my habits recently. Usually this “hell week” is both hell for students mentally and physically. Staying up late nights at the library, cramming in 10 weeks (x4 classes) worth of information, getting little rest, getting fast food meals, and stocking up on junk food. And the reason we tolerate these habits as human beings is...
Day 7: Have you been naughty or nice this year?
Lol, what kind of question is this?! I think everyone is quite naughty even though we all strive to be nice.

Day 5: Favorite Christmas memory AND Day 6: who is...
So I’ve been really bad with being consistent with these. The rate I’m going I’ll make it to Christmas right when I hit the end of the list, even if I started way earlier… :)
Day 5: My favorite Christmas memory… was probably when I was 10 or so. It was my family and two of our family best friends and we rented a condo/cabin up in Big Bear. I don’t believe that...
Day 3: Hot chocolate or hot apple cider? AND Day...
Day 3: HOT APPLE CIDER. hands down. i love it. i make it. i breathe it. EVERY holiday season. thank you very much :)
Day 4: Family traditions… not really actually. Maybe putting up the Xmas tree the day after thanksgiving (or the weekend of). But no hard traditions. Just a lot of family gatherings and eating. Usually a trip up during winter break or snowboarding and that’s it!
Life is too short.
RIP Jeff Lee. WHS Class of 2008.
Day 2: Favorite Christmas movie and why?
The Grinch. Fit for all ages! I thought I’d out grow it but I really haven’t haha :). Goes through the ups and downs and just the spirit of xmas! Love it.
Day 1: Favorite christmas song and why?
Winter Wonderland! It captures the mood of Xmas so well and is what I imagine Christmas to be like. Or Silent Night. I duno, I just love holiday music! :)
ITS ON! .. starting tomorrow.

Yay Polyvore!
So I just discovered Polyvore, which is web-based application that allows you to mix and match items to create your own fashion look. :) I don’t know how long this will last but it’s kind of fun and it (almost) satisfies my cravings to shop since I get to create it online for free! Haha. Anyway, first post just went up. The weather right now just makes me want to cozy up on a couch...
