I think it goes to show that the year will move fast. I mean, seriously. It has already been moving faster than I anticipated. I initially wanted to write a New Years’ Resolution post but seeing as it’s January 12th already… yeah.
Anyway, there isn’t a concrete list of resolutions that I wanted to put up but I decided that I just wanted to spend my time more purposefully and deliberately. That can be seen through a variety of actions: less procrastination, more intentional hangouts to keep friendships strong (it’s not my excuse for fun, seriously), sense of urgency to continue to eat healthy and workout, spending more time reading/learning, and so forth.
As a senior I realize how little time I have left for myself (seeing as once I start work I rarely will ever have personal time) and I’ve come to cherish it. I don’t want to wake up one day and not understand what I did the last week. I want to be able to use my time wisely and that any moment, I know what I’m trying to accomplish with my time. That’s all :)
